“I’M POISED TO GIVE PROMISED QUALITY, EFFECTIVE AND EFFICIENT REPRESENTATION”_ Hon. Otobong Bob

Following the dismissal of the petition brought by the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the last election for Nsit Ubium State Constituency, Mr Ime Alfred Akpan, against Hon. Barr. Otobong Effiong Bob election as the member representing the constituency in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Hon. Otobong said that he is ready to give his people the promised quality, effective and efficient representation.

Barr. Bob stated this today in his appreciation letter to his Party, Stakeholders, supporters and Nsit Ubium State Constituency as a whole.

The young lawmaker called on his brothers and sisters on the other side to please join hands with him to ensure that they consolidate on their gains and make Nsit Ubium and its people get the necessary dividends of democracy at this time. He noted that elections are now over and it is time for him to walk the talk of true leadership. He reassured Nsit Ubium people of his commitment in serving the state constituency conscious, adding that the essence of seeking any political office is the overall improvement in the living conditions of the people one seeks to superintend over.

He expressed his gratitude to God Almighty for availing them justice and bringing that electoral process to an end. He also thanked his political party, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), for having given him the platform, and for standing strongly by him to win that election to represent his people. He used the opportunity to appreciate the judiciary for their due diligence in ensuring that justice prevailed and in good time.

The appreciation note reads; “Following the dismissal, today July 10, 2019, of the petition brought by the candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the last election for Nsit Ubium State Constituency, Mr Ime Alfred Akpan, against my election as the member representing the constituency in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, I express gratitude to God for availing us justice and bringing that electoral process to an end.

“I thank my party, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), for having given me the platform, and for standing strongly by me to win that election to represent our people.

“May I also thank all the stakeholders in Nsit Ubium for showing me support in the build-up to the election and throughout the campaigns, as well as the election proper. I am grateful to all those who joined me on the campaign trail and who made profound sacrifices which resulted in our victory. I assure you that your sacrifices will not be in vain.

“I am now poised to give Nsit Ubium State Constituency the promised quality, effective, and efficient representation.

“May I therefore call on our brothers and sisters on the other side to please join hands with me to ensure that we consolidate on our gains and make Nsit Ubium and its people get the necessary dividends of democracy at this time. Elections are now over and it is time for me to walk the talk of true leadership.
